I’m thrilled to have had the chance to work with the Neptune team on this project. It’s been an incredible experience to be part of something so cutting-edge, working closely with OpenAI’s needs in mind. Surrounded by brilliant teammates, we tackled some seriously complex, specialized problems—ones that demanded both precision and creativity.

In my role, I focused on streamlining navigation, reimagining the information architecture, and building a design system to support the product’s growth. All of this had to fit together seamlessly to handle a massive, data-rich environment where engineers could easily find what they needed among millions of data points.

One of the biggest challenges was diving into the workflows of highly technical users. Coming from a non-machine-learning background, I had a lot to learn to understand how ML engineers think, the obstacles they face, and what they expect from a tool like Neptune. It was crucial to design something that truly works for them. I’m proud to have helped lay the foundation for Neptune’s next steps as a leading MLOps tool. Now, with an established design system, a more intuitive information structure, and optimized navigation, the team is set up to grow and innovate at scale.

When I joined Neptune, I quickly noticed how deeply involved the designers were in the development process. This level of engagement is fantastic, especially since it allows design to serve as a quality checkpoint, ensuring the final product looks just like the original designs in Figma. However, the constant back-and-forth between design and engineering was creating significant delays. What we needed was a more efficient system—a robust component library that engineers could rely on, with only minimal guidance from design.

At the time, we did have a component library, but it was poorly documented in Figma and misaligned with what the engineers were using on their end. This mismatch was at the root of our delays: even when we delivered perfectly organized designs with well-named layers, components, auto-layout, and all the extras, engineers still had to interpret and adjust everything to fit with their existing code-based library.

To tackle this, I spent a lot of time reworking our assets in Figma, collaborating closely with engineering to bridge the gap between our design and their development tools. Together, we identified missing components and brought alignment to both sides. Thanks to these efforts, design is now better prepared for things like UI dark mode and future enhancements.
There’s still plenty of work ahead, as design systems are always evolving, but I’m grateful to have played a part in streamlining the daily design-dev workflow at Neptune.

It’s been fascinating to experiment with these VR devices. Both Meta’s and Apple’s offerings are impressive, but the Vision Pro stands out—it’s unmistakably Apple and truly a marvel of technology. I’m also excited about the upcoming AR glasses from Meta and Snapchat, which is likely where the industry is ultimately heading.

In my work, I focused on what it means to navigate a computer and perform actual productive tasks in a VR environment. We received requests from major clients, like Boeing, to create collaborative environments where engineering teams could explore engine designs together—a highly specialized use case. But the bigger question is: how can we make VR valuable for the everyday office worker? Is it even worth the effort? Those were the core questions that guided my designs.

At VMware, one of my primary responsibilities was advancing the Digital Employee Experience (DEX), a key initiative that gained significant momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic. As remote and hybrid work became the new norm, VMware took a leading role in shaping the “anywhere workspace” culture, dedicating substantial resources to research, design, and development aimed at empowering employees to work seamlessly from any location.

Our work within DEX focused on a diverse range of user groups—from frontline workers with specific on-site needs to knowledge workers operating remotely. For each group, we explored and tailored solutions that addressed their unique challenges while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across VMware’s digital ecosystem. This initiative was about more than just facilitating remote work; it was about reimagining the workplace to support productivity, flexibility, and connectivity for every type of employee, regardless of where they worked.

Admins need an efficient solution for monitoring and managing large fleets of virtual and physical devices. This system should provide them with complete oversight and control to ensure smooth operations. Corporate employees need a simpler UI, focusing only on the devices they are directly responsible for.
It should also offer an easy pathway to contact support whenever they encounter issues, making device management as effortless as possible for them.

I’ve been immersed in the world of design since 2012, taking on a wide range of creative projects that have shaped my skills and broadened my perspective. I started with traditional graphic design, working on everything from stationary and print materials to t-shirts and other branding essentials. Each project taught me how to communicate visually, distilling complex ideas into impactful designs that resonated with audiences. My work in branding took this further, as I developed logos, websites, and full visual identities for companies of all sizes, ensuring each element was cohesive and strategically aligned with the brand’s mission.

Over time, my focus shifted towards UI/UX design, where I’ve had the opportunity to apply my design skills in more interactive spaces. I’ve handled small-scale projects that required a deep dive into user needs, redesigning landing pages, optimizing user flows, conducting UX research, and reworking platform functionalities. In these roles, I focused on improving the user experience by analyzing pain points and testing solutions that made interfaces not only look great but work seamlessly. Each project has contributed to a well-rounded design skill set, enabling me to approach new challenges with both creative insight and practical problem-solving.
